By accessing, browsing, registering, or submitting content to The Regret Wall, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and Community Rules.

2. Age Eligibility and Immutable Birth Date

3. Content Governance: Zero Tolerance vs. Sensitive (+18)
To balance sincere human vulnerability with community safety, strict content boundaries are enforced:
- Zero Tolerance: Suicide, self-harm encouragement, pedophilia, child exploitation, terrorism, and direct hate threats are strictly forbidden and permanently rejected.
- Sensitive Content (+18): Mature reflections, adult relationships, infidelity, and sexual remorse are preserved, but shielded behind verified adult (+18) access.
- Doxxing & Harassment: Revealing real identities, phone numbers, or private addresses of third parties is strictly prohibited.
4. Retraction, Claiming, and Content License
You retain authorship of your confessions while granting The Regret Wall a license for anonymous publication.
- 10-Minute Undo: You hold the right to retract and edit any confession within 10 minutes of submission.
- License: By publishing, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and archive your confession anonymously.
- Guest Claiming: Guest submissions may be claimed into a registered account via single-use cryptographic tokens.
5. Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
Our AI Guardian reflections and historical persona dialogues are generated by automated machine learning models.
- AI responses are purely philosophical, artistic, and reflective.
- AI is not a licensed therapist, healthcare provider, or legal counsel.
- Do not rely on AI messages as a substitute for professional mental health care.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Regret Wall is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for emotional distress caused by reading third-party confessions.
- We do not guarantee permanent availability or uncorrupted storage of any individual entry.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to the platform in the preceding 12 months.
7. Termination and Inquiries
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Inquiries can be directed to support@theregretwall.com.
